Accommodation

The weekend of the 24-26th August 2019 is a UK Bank Holiday and is the last holiday weekend of the school summer break. This will mean that the area is likely to be busy with visitors needing hotels, B&B, apartments and campsite pitches. Please reserve your accommodation as early as possible, otherwise you will be sleeping in your car for the week!

The nearby RYA owned venue of Portland House, just a short walk from the Academy, will be available. At the moment, the whole of Portland House is available. They have 24 rooms, - 12 twins, 9 bunks (sleep 4) & 3 triples (also adapted for disabled sailors) spread over 3 floors. The top floor has a dining area for your own self catered meals. All rooms have an ensuite shower room and small kitchen area for basic self-catering. They are charged at £65 per room per night. It is an easy walk to WPNSA along the harbour’s edge.
